Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly process payroll for all employees located in Taiwan.

• Manage payroll systems, maintain records, and oversee employee data.

• Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, and mandatory contributions.

• Generate and distribute payslips in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ensure timely submission of payroll-related statutory payments, including taxes and social security.

• Handle year-end payroll activities, including annual tax declarations.

• Identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues related to payroll.

• Prepare payroll reports for both internal and client evaluations.

• Ensure adherence to Taiwan's labor laws and payroll regulations.

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience in Taiwan.

• In-depth understanding of Taiwan's labor laws and statutory requirements.

• Proven experience in payroll processing is crucial.

• Experience with Employer of Record (EOR), HR consulting, or working in multinational companies is advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Proficient communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks as directed by management.
