Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete payroll operation process, ensuring precision and adherence to federal, state, and local laws.

• Administer payroll using platforms such as Gusto, Justworks, and Rippling.

• Keep meticulous payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and tax submissions.

• Guarantee the prompt processing of payroll taxes and related reporting obligations.

• Conduct payroll audits and compliance assessments.

• Address and resolve any employee inquiries regarding payroll.

• Work in conjunction with HR and finance teams to enhance payroll processes.

• Remain updated on changing payroll legislation, tax obligations, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in U.S. payroll processing.

• Experience in managing U.S. payroll, ideally with Gusto, Justworks, and Rippling.

• Proficiency in Gusto, Justworks, and Rippling is strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations, compliance, and multi-state payroll processing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently.

• Experience in payroll management for regulated industries is an advantage.
