Payroll Software Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of payroll software for both new and existing clients.

• Analyze customer payroll workflows and requirements, converting them into effective software configurations.

• Set up SaaS products, workflows, and tailor-specific customer needs.

• Assist with payroll data migration, system integrations, and testing processes.

• Engage with APIs, ETL procedures, and data transformation as necessary.

• Lead customers through user acceptance testing and ensure readiness for launch.

• Provide training and clearly communicate software functionalities to clients.

• Offer support to customers during the go-live phase and assist with the transition to ongoing support.

• Handle multiple customer projects and priorities concurrently.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address issues and achieve successful results.

• Keep customers updated on progress, timelines, potential risks, and issues.

• Travel to customer locations when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll processes — essential.

• Background in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding, or technical consulting.

• Experience working directly with clients to comprehend their needs and deliver solutions.

• Familiarity with payroll software or systems.

• Knowledge of software configuration, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration, or data transformation.

• Confidence in managing multiple customers, projects, or priorities.

• Ability to convey software and technical details in layman's terms.

• Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms would be advantageous.

• Willingness or capability to travel to customer sites as needed.

• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
