Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of payroll software for both new and existing clients.

• Comprehend clients' payroll processes and requirements, translating them into suitable software configurations.

• Set up SaaS products, workflows, and tailored customer specifications.

• Assist with payroll data migration, integrations, and testing procedures.

• Work with APIs, ETL processes, and data transformation as needed.

• Guide clients through user acceptance testing and prepare them for the go-live phase.

• Provide training and clearly articulate software functionalities to clients.

• Support clients during the go-live phase and transition into ongoing assistance.

• Handle multiple customer projects and priorities concurrently.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address issues and ensure successful results.

• Keep clients updated on progress, timelines, risks, and potential issues.

• Travel to client locations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll processes — essential.

• Background in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding, or technical consulting.

• Experience working directly with clients to grasp requirements and implement solutions.

• Familiarity with payroll software or systems.

• Knowledge of software configuration, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration, or data transformation processes.

• Confidence in managing multiple clients, projects, or priorities.

• Ability to convey software and technical information in layman's terms.

• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is advantageous.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based, or eligibility for relevant sponsorship.
