Payroll Managed Services Consultant – Workday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a designated expert for clients, offering guidance, best practices, solutions, and instructions on Workday Payroll.

• Collaborate directly with clients to resolve issues related to Workday Payroll.

• Act as a liaison between ADP and Workday through SmartCompliance monitoring and issue resolution.

• Configure Workday payroll components and reports of various complexities.

• Execute pre-production tasks, including running test scripts and migrating legacy data into Workday.

• Engage in internal training and share knowledge and skills.

• Support internal initiatives aimed at enhancing the team, department, or organization.

• Ensure adherence to service-level agreement timelines and maintain an average quarterly billability of 80%.

• Be available during service hours from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST and extend work hours as necessary.

• Oversee a team of consultants, mentor their professional growth, and manage escalations at the Manager level.

• Create sales materials and define project scopes leveraging Workday expertise at the Senior/Principal level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing (Required).

• Proficient knowledge of payroll checklists, earnings and deductions, pay groups, general ledger, costing allocations, audit alerts, approval processes, and security protocols (Required).

• Familiarity with ADP or Workday payroll systems (Preferred).

• Workday Payroll Certification (Preferred).

• Experience in implementing, supporting, or managing Workday Payroll for clients of varying sizes and complexity levels (Preferred).

• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and collaboration.

• Ability to juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to effectively interact and collaborate with clients and team members.

• Strong problem-solving skills and an appreciation for diverse perspectives.

• Recommended internet bandwidth of 20Mbps.

• Candidates either serving notice or available to start by January 1, 2027, at the latest.
