Payroll Governance, Audit & Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead payroll governance, compliance, and internal control efforts across various countries.

• Assess payroll risks, controls, audit outcomes, and corrective actions.

• Establish, monitor, and report on Global Payroll KPIs and operational performance indicators.

• Assist in the standardization of processes, continuous improvement, and initiatives aimed at operational excellence.

• Participate in both internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

• Oversee payroll vendor performance, service standards, and governance frameworks.

• Create dashboards, reports, and insights to aid in decision-making.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders including Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, Compliance, and external partners.

• Assist in strategic projects and the ongoing Global Payroll Transformation initiative.

• Report directly to the Head of Global Payroll.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Background in Governance, Internal Controls, Process Management, Audit, Compliance, Shared Services, or related fields.

• Experience in payroll is highly desirable.

• Extensive experience in process governance, internal controls, risk management, and performance assessment.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

• Familiarity with reporting, analytics, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced international setting.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management and collaboration.

• Proficiency in English.

• A structured and highly organized working style.

• Ability to cultivate robust relationships across different functions and regions.

• Keen attention to detail while maintaining a global perspective.
