Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of payroll software for both new and existing clients.

• Comprehend customers’ payroll processes and needs, translating them into the suitable software configuration.

• Set up SaaS products, workflows, and client-specific requirements.

• Assist with payroll data migration, integrations, and testing procedures.

• Engage with APIs, ETL processes, and data transformation as necessary.

• Guide clients through user acceptance testing and preparation for launch.

• Provide training and clearly communicate software functionalities to clients.

• Offer support to clients during the launch phase and transition to ongoing assistance.

• Handle multiple client projects and priorities concurrently.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address issues and achieve successful results.

• Keep clients updated regarding progress, timelines, potential risks, and concerns.

• Take part in customer-facing implementation and technical project activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll processes — essential.

• Background in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding, or technical consulting.

• Experience working directly with clients to identify needs and implement effective solutions.

• Familiarity with payroll software or systems.

• Knowledge of software configuration, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration, or data transformation.

• Confidence in managing multiple clients, projects, or priorities.

• Capability to explain software and technical concepts in straightforward terms.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools would be advantageous.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
