This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the daily operations of payroll processes across multiple countries in the LATAM region, including both regular and off-cycle approvals as well as issue resolution.
• Actively engage in the execution of global payroll processes and work towards consolidating payroll operations onto a single platform.
• Collaborate closely with Payroll, HR, Operations, and Finance teams to gather and assess payroll data inputs for designated country payrolls.
• Collect, review, and reconcile payroll information from G-P internal stakeholders and systems, subsequently uploading this data to local service providers through global aggregators such as Payzaar, ADP Celergo, and/or ADP WFN.
• Supervise and reconcile vendor payroll processing and compliance activities; ensure outputs are complete and accurate.
• Provide payroll estimates for internal reporting and funding requirements.
• Initiate requests for payroll funding, payroll taxes, and third-party payments as necessary.
• Create client invoices based on cost reports, ensuring that billing is processed accurately and promptly.
• Deliver precise and timely data and reports to HR, Finance, Operations, external partners, and statutory teams.
• Manage work priorities and offer support to employees, clients, and internal stakeholders as the escalation point for payroll and billing inquiries.
• Maintain regular communication with the Manager and Senior Manager of Global Payroll regarding project updates, service metrics from in-country providers, and potential opportunities to standardize payroll processes.
• Capability to provide employees with information regarding payroll processes and outcomes as reflected on their pay slips.
• Proficiency in resolving customer billing and payroll inquiries through a ticketing system.
• Ability to quickly understand requirements and execute multi-country payroll and customer billing transactions.
• Capacity to manage a high volume of time-sensitive documents.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
• Exceptional proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong time management skills coupled with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a collaborative approach.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to accommodate multiple time zones and the unique demands of a global remote workforce.
• Knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
• Desirable: Experience in managing social security and government benefit portals (such as IMSS, Infonavit, Fonacot, or equivalent national/international platforms).
