This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Submit medical billing to the relevant party.

• Address insurance edits and resolve errors.

• Follow up on the adjudication process for claims.

• Handle payer rejections and denials.

• Review, analyze, and rectify denied and rejected claims.

• Follow up on outstanding accounts to secure payment.

• Research correspondence and information from payer phone calls to ensure accurate account management.

• Review and update patient insurance details.

• Collaborate with payer representatives to finalize accounts.

• Report trends and issues related to payers to management.

• Communicate with payers, patients, family members, guarantors, hospital departments, and physician practices regarding insurance claim information.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (Required).

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

• Certification or licensure is not required.

• Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data when issues are not overly complex.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Must have the ability to work from Ohio.
