This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical documentation to accurately code and post-surgery and hospital charges for insurance billing.

• Provide assistance with CPT and ICD-10 coding.

• Maintain effective communication with the Team Lead and/or Supervisor.

• Safeguard patient information in accordance with confidentiality policies.

• Ensure compliance with governmental and regulatory standards.

• Complete required training and in-services in a timely manner.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) for Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Travel locally during business hours, with possible out-of-area and overnight travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in AR, denial management, and CPT/ICD-10 coding.

• At least three (3) years of relevant AR experience.

• Ideally, one year of experience working with ASC claims.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant AR or medical billing experience is essential.

• Strong understanding of computer information systems.

• Capability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables.

• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.

• Capacity to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequently lifting/moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to fulfill required training and in-services, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements.
