Payroll Analyst II – Colombia, LATAM Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist with payroll operations for Colombia and the LATAM region.

• Collaborate directly with the payroll vendor to execute the entire payroll process for Colombia.

• Facilitate full-cycle gross-to-net processing, covering regular cycles, off-cycle payments, final settlements (liquidaciones), and statutory benefit payouts (prima, cesantías, and intereses).

• Ensure compliance with mandatory filings and timely remittances through PILA.

• Submit electronic payroll reports (Nómina Electrónica) to the DIAN.

• Keep abreast of local labor laws and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Address employee inquiries related to deductions, withholdings, and benefits.

• Collaborate with the accounting team during month-end closing processes.

• Provide gross-to-net payroll reports, accrual data, and explanations for variances in audits and journal entries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in managing payroll processing for Colombia, along with relevant accounting experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Colombian labor, tax, and social security laws.

• Proficiency in Workday, UKG, or comparable global payroll systems.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing software.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience in processing equity transactions is preferred.

• Experience with payroll processing in regions outside of Colombia is a plus.

• This position is remote, based in Mexico.
