Payroll Accountant, Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the monthly payroll process, ensuring it is completed in a timely manner.

• Act as a knowledgeable resource for clients, social insurance institutions, and regulatory bodies regarding all aspects of wage tax and social insurance.

• Generate certificates and manage all statutory reporting responsibilities.

• Serve as a key contact during audits, including those related to social insurance and wage tax.

• Work collaboratively with the founding team to enhance the software by sharing practical insights.

• Assist in HR functions by contributing to the development of future job profiles within the Payroll Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed IHK training as a Payroll Accountant or equivalent qualification as a Specialist Assistant for Payroll & Compensation.

• Fundamental understanding of social insurance, wage tax, and employment law.

• Ability to work independently with a meticulous and conscientious approach.

• Proficient in the German language.

• Prior experience with Agenda payroll software is an advantage.
