Payment Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage global investigator payments for designated studies.

• Maintain client relationships and fulfill client obligations.

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations and workloads, which includes reviewing site payments, conducting client meetings, and managing study funds.

• Work in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to improve experience, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues.

• Administer clinical-trial payments to guarantee timely and precise processing in line with agreements, IRB, and/or ethics committee stipulations.

• Evaluate and oversee clinical-trial funding requests.

• Conduct primary quality control of visit and invoiceable payment data.

• Execute quarterly reconciliation reviews of payment data throughout clinical trials and during closeout phases.

• Handle project escalations, determine root causes, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the designated team lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical trials or a related environment is required.

• Strong project management and leadership capabilities are required.

• Proficient problem-solving and time management skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; professional interaction with clients.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Competence in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Outlook.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Capability to learn swiftly, work with new technology systems, and adapt to system changes.

• Ability to work independently and proactively within a team setting.

• Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Proficiency in proofreading and identifying errors in mathematics and grammar.

• A solid understanding of basic accounting and budgeting is recommended.
