Payment Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Identify and align incoming payments with customer bookings.

• Reconcile accounting entries across international accounts and various currencies.

• Investigate and resolve unmatched or incorrectly applied payments in collaboration with internal teams and payment partners.

• Troubleshoot issues related to bank and partner reporting to ensure the accurate and timely identification of incoming funds.

• Recognize recurring payment challenges and propose process enhancements to minimize manual work and reconciliation discrepancies.

• Assist the Payment Operations, Payouts, and Customer Support Teams.

• Engage in the hiring process, which includes interviews with the Hiring Manager, FlyMates, department VP, and a skills assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 1-2 years of experience in the corporate payments or banking industry.

• Proficiency in payments identification and reconciliation.

• Background in working with bank and partner reporting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with payment processing and investigations is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency regarding deadlines, and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and drive tasks to completion in a dynamic environment.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Passionate about problem-solving and assisting customers.

• Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.

• Experience with Slack, Zendesk, Jira, and/or Looker is an asset.
