This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for incoming and outgoing patient calls related to balance inquiries, claims processing, insurance updates, and payment collections.
• Make outbound calls to patients of revenue cycle management clients to identify and resolve demographic, insurance, and payment-related issues.
• Enter and update patient account details.
• Record calls in the Practice Management system.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities that support and enhance customer- and patient-facing activities.
• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Must be available to work from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm EST or 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST.
• Capable of managing over 60 inbound calls daily.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior experience in healthcare administration or a related field is required.
• Basic knowledge of medical billing claims submission processes and familiarity with insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
• Proficient in business software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in telephone communication.
• Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and skills.
• Strong teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced call center environment.
• A professional demeanor is essential.
• Competency in managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
