Patient Services Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the processing of accident-related claims.

• Build and sustain professional relationships with clients.

• Serve as a liaison between the hospital and Knowtion Health.

• Coordinate with physician offices associated with the hospital to ensure open and effective communication.

• Engage with insurance payers to promote timely payments.

• Collect information and documents remotely regarding the entity responsible for settling patients’ hospital bills or claims.

• Verify and respond to requests from attorneys.

• Acquire knowledge of and apply client-specific protocols and procedures.

• Refer complex or challenging accounts to management to ensure effective progression.

• Operate both independently and collaboratively with colleagues at Knowtion Health and client staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with EMR/EHR systems is mandatory; experience with EPIC software is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience registering patients in a hospital or provider group setting is required.

• Familiarity with MVA claims or health claims, including Medicare, is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills are essential.

• Strong computer skills are necessary.

• Capability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment is required.

• Must present a valid government-issued photo ID during the screening and/or interview process.

• Candidates located in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NM, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, or WV will be prioritized.
