Patient Registration Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assist patients with the check-in process at the hospital.

• Respond to patient inquiries during the registration phase.

• Efficiently gather patient and insurance information with accuracy.

• Utilize computers and answer phones to collect necessary information.

• Input registration data across various screens and software applications.

• Facilitate the coordination of registration details between physician and nurse check-ins.

• Engage with patients by asking follow-up questions, fostering rapport, and alleviating anxiety.

• Support patients in completing their registration forms.

• Navigate around clinicians and manage interruptions from urgent clinical care.

• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, often remaining on your feet.

• Contribute to patient care and customer satisfaction as part of R1 RCM’s healthcare revenue-cycle services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.

• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.

• Proven ability to multitask effectively in a high-energy environment.

• Quick adaptability to new technology.

• Proficient in typing and managing phone calls.

• Comfortable working across various computer programs and screens.

• Prepared to encounter illnesses and injuries in a hospital or lab setting.

• Availability to work Sundays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and PRN/on-call as required.

• Eligibility to work in the United States is a prerequisite for this US-based role.
