This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist patients and their families during the check-in process.
• Utilize various computer systems to efficiently register patients.
• Handle phone inquiries and promptly gather accurate patient information.
• Reduce registration times and respond to questions with clarity and compassion.
• Establish trust with patients during challenging or emotional situations.
• Navigate through insurance plans and coverage information.
• Input demographic and medical data accurately.
• Collect co-pays and provide cost estimates when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and care teams to facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Proven experience in customer service, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in multitasking and quickly prioritizing tasks while paying close attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities based on patient requirements.
• Previous experience in patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front desk roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements is mandatory.
