Patient Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Perform outreach to potential participants in clinical trials through both inbound and outbound calls.

• Evaluate and screen patients for eligibility according to study protocols.

• Inform patients about clinical trial participation, including the benefits and expectations involved.

• Keep precise records of all interactions within the recruitment tracking system.

• Work collaboratively with study teams to ensure prompt follow-up and enrollment.

• Utilize CRM software, such as HubSpot, along with phone systems for effective communication and tracking.

• Offer culturally sensitive assistance in both English and Spanish when necessary.

• Aim for 70 calls daily and schedule 5 patients each day for screening visits.

• Assist clinical research clients by identifying and qualifying patients for participation in clinical trials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish-English bilingualism is preferred.

• A medical background; a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field such as Nursing or Biology is acceptable.

• At least 1 year of experience in clinical research, particularly in patient recruitment or as a clinical research coordinator, is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center, preferably in a medical or clinical environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a preference for bilingual Spanish/English candidates.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and virtual call center or phone systems is a significant advantage.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills are essential.

• Capability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
