Patient Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct video-based pre-assessment consultations with potential patients.

• Collect comprehensive medical histories, including current medications, pertinent family history, and previous treatments.

• Evaluate patient eligibility for referral to Montu's clinical consultants.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential patient records.

• Assist patients through the onboarding process and respond to clinical inquiries effectively.

• Report safeguarding concerns and contraindications in accordance with Montu policy and national guidelines.

• Make independent, complex clinical decisions within a fast-paced caseload.

• Collaborate as part of Montu's expanding clinical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• NMC-registered Nurse with at least 5 years of clinical experience post-registration.

• UK-based nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience as a nurse in a remote clinical setting, including patient consultations via phone or video.

• Confident in making autonomous decisions with strong clinical reasoning skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable operating in a fully remote, technology-driven environment, utilizing video platforms and EMRs.

• Solid understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and clinical governance.

• Desirable: experience in pain management, cannabis-based medicinal products, or complementary therapies.

• Desirable: background in a fast-paced or high-volume clinical environment.

• Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

• Active NMC registration/pin.
