Patient Intake, Scheduling Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for new and potential patients.

• Respond to incoming calls and handle inquiries regarding services and appointment availability.

• Make outbound calls to patient leads and follow up on online appointment requests.

• Gather accurate demographic and insurance information from patients.

• Secure insurance cards and verify coverage prior to scheduling appointments.

• Work in collaboration with the insurance verification teams to ensure proper patient bookings.

• Partner with Physical Therapists to coordinate scheduling and rescheduling of appointments.

• Arrange evaluations and follow-up appointments 4–6 weeks ahead of time.

• Develop and maintain precise patient records.

• Record patient information to facilitate clinical and billing processes.

• Monitor patient status to avoid missed follow-ups or lost leads.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills with patients.

• Strong verbal and written English proficiency for daily interactions with patients and internal teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, patient-oriented environment.

• Excellent organizational skills to ensure timely follow-ups and precise scheduling.

• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in data entry and documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Previous experience in healthcare intake, patient scheduling, or medical front-desk operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with insurance verification processes is advantageous.

• Experience with EMR or patient management systems is preferred.

• Coursework in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
