Patient Enrollment Specialist – Medicare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the initial contact for new patients at Mira Mace.

• Promptly return calls to new signups and respond to inquiries from patients.

• Understand patients’ healthcare needs and clarify how Mira Mace’s services operate along with Medicare coverage.

• Schedule patients’ initial doctor appointments during the call.

• Listen attentively, verify Medicare and plan information, explain services in straightforward terms, and secure an appointment.

• Follow up via phone and text with patients who did not respond or were unprepared.

• Record every interaction in the platform.

• Highlight urgent requirements to the care team.

• Engage in patient phone conversations for approximately six hours daily.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN or RN license, or Community Health Worker (CHW) certification, or a minimum of 2 years of direct interaction with patients or health-plan members.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Familiarity with Medicare, including Original Medicare versus Medicare Advantage, Part B, and supplemental plans.

• Comfortable managing a high volume of phone calls, evaluated based on booked appointments rather than number of calls made.

• Dependable computer and internet connection.

• A quiet, private environment for patient calls and managing protected health information.

• Preferred: experience in a healthcare call center, patient access, or enrollment position.

• Preferred: knowledge of Medicaid and other public assistance programs.

• Preferred: bilingual in Spanish or another language commonly spoken by Medicare patients.
