This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Raise awareness about clinical research and support patient enrollment in clinical trials.
• Recruit participants for clinical trials to achieve enrollment targets.
• Participate in health fairs to enhance the company’s local branding.
• Exhibit a solid understanding of clinical research studies, medical diagnoses, and terminology.
• Comprehend study protocols, eligibility criteria, and trial requirements.
• Build rapport and deliver courteous, efficient service to patients, subjects, healthcare professionals, sponsors, site locations, and company staff.
• Conduct daily recruitment initiatives for designated enrolling protocols.
• Make outbound recruitment calls and respond to incoming calls, aiming to complete 80–120 calls each day.
• Evaluate subjects by identifying medical diagnoses and exclusion criteria for appropriate study placement.
• Review patient records in EMR systems and pre-screen patients against study eligibility standards.
• Connect prospective patients with current or future studies, or log them in the database for subsequent studies.
• Arrange appointments for qualified subjects.
• Maintain the clinical trial database, monitor trial progress and timelines, review screening sheets, triage participants, and update subject statuses.
• Comply with IRB-approved protocols.
• Manage tasks effectively while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word) and web-based tools.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and human relations capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks at once and adjust to evolving responsibilities and workloads.
• Professional demeanor, sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a robust work ethic.
• High level of integrity and ability to uphold confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Experience with EMRs is preferred.
• An Associate's degree and at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
• Strongly preferred: experience in clinical research or patient recruitment.
• Data entry experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at a desk utilizing a computer for extended periods.
• Capability to communicate via email, phone, chat, webcam, MS Teams, or Zoom.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Fully remote position.
• Up to 20% travel may be required.
