Patient Education Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy and implementation of both branded and unbranded education on diseases, inheritance, and products for patients and their families throughout the designated territory.

• Assess the educational needs of individual patients and create tailored action plans.

• Conduct patient education through individual, family, and group sessions, as well as through patient organizations and community outreach.

• Formulate and implement patient programming strategies for key accounts.

• Provide disease and product training for home and outpatient infusion environments.

• Cultivate relationships with Strategic Account Management and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical, Marketing, and Case Management.

• Analyze data to guide strategic decisions, prioritize initiatives, and achieve KPIs.

• Record communication details in the CRM database.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal and regulatory obligations.

• Enhance processes and outcomes through innovation and change.

• Complete administrative reports and projects.

• Maintain medical and scientific knowledge through ongoing education and internal training.

• Provide caseload coverage in areas outside the assigned territory as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/life sciences (or equivalent experience).

• Over 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant field.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, mediation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to connect effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

• Proficiency in conveying complex concepts clearly to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.

• Proven experience and success in navigating a complex matrix to achieve objectives.

• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating flexibility, persistence, creativity, empathy, and trustworthiness.

• Solid business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively (50%–75%).

• Genetic counseling certification or nursing registration is preferred.

• A Master of Science degree or another advanced medical or scientific qualification is preferred.

• Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical sector is desirable.

• Background in Genetics, Neurology/Neuromuscular, Renal, or Hematology/Oncology is preferred.

• Bilingual Spanish language skills are preferred.
