Patient Education Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy and implement both branded and unbranded educational initiatives regarding diseases, inheritance, and products for patients and their families.

• Assess the educational requirements of patients and create tailored action plans.

• Organize individual, family, and group educational sessions for patients while supporting patient organizations and communities.

• Design and implement patient programming strategies for key accounts.

• Conduct disease and product training sessions for home and outpatient infusion environments.

• Establish strong relationships with Strategic Account Management teams, which include Commercial, Medical, Marketing, and Case Management departments.

• Analyze data to guide strategic decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and achieve KPIs.

• Accurately document communications in the CRM database.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate compliant exchanges of patient-related information.

• Enhance processes and outcomes through innovative approaches.

• Complete administrative reports and projects as required.

• Maintain medical and scientific knowledge through ongoing education and internal training.

• Provide caseload coverage beyond the assigned territory as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or life sciences (or equivalent).

• A minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in a relevant field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, mediation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to connect with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

• Proficiency in conveying complex concepts clearly to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.

• Proven experience and success in navigating a complex matrix to achieve objectives.

• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating flexibility, persistence, creativity, empathy, and trust.

• Solid business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Must be willing to travel extensively (50%–75%).

• Genetic counseling certification or nursing registration is preferred.

• A Master of Science degree or another advanced medical or scientific qualification is preferred.

• Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Background in Genetics, Neurology/Neuromuscular, Renal, or Hematology/Oncology is preferred.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
