This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, collect, and update patient demographic and related information essential for resolving EMS claims and ensuring payment.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of Digitech’s internal departments and their workflows.
• Collaborate with billing, collections, and quality assurance teams to address account discrepancies and gather missing information.
• Engage in communication with hospitals, insurance providers, attorneys, and patients to obtain or confirm necessary documentation and details.
• Execute in-depth research utilizing hospital systems, payer portals, and both public and proprietary databases.
• Record findings and updates in patient accounts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Handle mail and email correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
• Sustain productivity and precision while managing high-volume research tasks and adhering to deadlines.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Strong capability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
• A team-oriented individual who collaborates effectively across various departments.
• Professional and polite phone demeanor during outreach efforts.
• Ability to maintain composure, organization, and focus in a deadline-oriented setting.
• Proficient in computer skills; comfortable using dual monitors and navigating multiple systems.
• Proven attention to detail with a strong commitment to follow-through and accuracy.
• Previous experience in public interaction or managing sensitive information is advantageous.
