This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist with patient intake and coordination through education, triage, and appointment scheduling.
• Organize bookings for new patients, follow-ups, and rescheduling tasks.
• Engage in proactive outbound communication with patients to ensure continuity of care and adherence to appointments.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns while collecting comprehensive patient history.
• Deliver medical cannabis education in-clinic or remotely using digital platforms and phone communication.
• Maintain and enhance messaging and knowledge standards.
• Exhibit compassionate, empathetic, direct, strong, and confident communication skills.
• Handle incoming and outgoing phone and email communications with stakeholders.
• Conduct structured patient triage, evaluating patient needs, eligibility, and urgency.
• Record patient interactions in EMR systems and tracking tools while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Assist with patient-facing events and clinic initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and follow-up activities.
• Achieve or surpass established KPIs and performance metrics.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Experience in customer service or call center roles within the healthcare and/or hospitality sectors is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical databases or EMR systems is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Proficient in English, demonstrating strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Fluency in French is considered an asset.
• Capable of utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively.
• Possess passion, empathy, and emotional intelligence to cultivate relationships and assist individuals in enhancing their health.
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to create a positive work atmosphere.
• Strong analytical and thought leadership skills are necessary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment while adapting positively to change.
• Excellent listening, communication, and leadership skills are required.
