This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee both incoming and outgoing patient communications via Weave during business hours.
β’ Address patient inquiries, messages, and scheduling requests efficiently.
β’ Reach out to new patient inquiries through calls and texts to convert them into scheduled appointments.
β’ Organize patient scheduling and manage appointment-related updates.
β’ Conduct verification of insurance eligibility and benefits.
β’ Clarify insurance coverage, benefits, and anticipated costs to patients.
β’ Acquire prior authorizations through EviCore when necessary.
β’ Collaborate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda, PacificSource, and cash-pay patients.
β’ Relay scheduling changes and insurance information to the clinical team via Slack.
β’ Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, messages, and follow-ups.
β’ Adhere to HIPAA regulations and practice confidentiality standards.
β’ Assist with front-desk and administrative duties as required.
β’ Prior experience in U.S. healthcare insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
β’ Practical experience with prior authorizations in a healthcare setting within the U.S.
β’ Ability to confidently discuss insurance benefits with patients and explain coverage clearly.
β’ Excellent verbal and written English skills, featuring a clear, professional, and neutral accent.
β’ A warm, reassuring, and professional telephone demeanor.
β’ Strong conversational abilities, particularly with anxious or concerned patients.
β’ Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Capability to manage multiple patient conversations and follow-ups effectively.
β’ Comfort in a fast-paced working environment.
β’ Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software.
β’ Proficient in handling confidential patient information while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps for both upload and download.
β’ A verified backup internet connection is mandatory; mobile phone hotspots are not acceptable.
β’ A backup power source, such as a UPS or generator, is required.
β’ A quiet, professional workspace suitable for voice work is essential.
β’ A noise-canceling headset is required.
β’ A reliable computer capable of running software systems and a softphone concurrently is necessary.
