This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main contact point through phone communication.
• Oversee multiple phone lines, prioritize calls, arrange appointments, take messages, and conduct intake, follow-up, and reminder calls.
• Enroll new patients and securely gather and input demographic, financial, insurance, and clinical information.
• Organize and schedule patient appointments and procedures using eIVF.
• Assist patients with navigation and troubleshooting of the Patient Portal as well as Telemedicine consultations.
• Maintain and coordinate the schedules of healthcare providers.
• Facilitate communication between physicians, clinical teams, and other practices to ensure efficient information flow and streamline visits.
• Collaborate with billing to collect co-pays, appointment payments, and manage account balances.
• Prepare patient charts, scan, fax, and handle outgoing medical records requests.
• Support team members with voicemail setup and headset configurations.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, escalate issues to supervisors, and carry out other assigned tasks.
• High school diploma is mandatory.
• At least 1+ year of experience in reception or customer service in a similar remote or in-person capacity.
• Previous experience in fertility, reproductive health, or related healthcare sectors is preferred.
• Familiarity with infertility treatments, associated terminology, and patient concerns is advantageous.
• Prior use of fertility-focused EMR systems such as eIVF or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to compassionately and clearly convey complex medical information to patients navigating fertility care is preferred.
• High level of computer proficiency, including expertise in Microsoft Office.
• Capacity to manage a high volume of phone calls and patient interactions professionally in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to plan, prioritize, and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• A compassionate and caring attitude when engaging with patients and colleagues.
• Professional and pleasant demeanor in a fast-paced setting.
• Must have a private, quiet, and HIPAA-compliant workspace for remote work.
