Patient Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact point for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and branch locations concerning nutrition therapy orders and account inquiries.

• Handle monthly patient refill requests via digital channels and incoming phone calls.

• Examine and confirm patient demographics, insurance details, and order documentation.

• Update electronic patient records and ensure account information is accurate.

• Respond to incoming calls, provide updates on order statuses, and direct inquiries to the relevant departments.

• Assist patients with refill requests, payment processing, and account-related queries.

• Investigate and address routine patient concerns while escalating more complex issues as needed.

• Review patient accounts for outstanding balances and aid in payment collection.

• Accurately receive and process credit card and other payment transactions.

• Support team members during busy periods and in complicated patient service scenarios.

• Ensure a positive experience for patients through professional, compassionate, and efficient service.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• At least one year of customer service experience.

• A minimum of one year of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.

• Capability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

• Weekend availability: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM CST.

• 20 hours per week; potential for PRN hours up to 30 hours weekly.

• Candidates may live anywhere within the United States.
