Patient Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in comprehensive Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC) implementations, covering discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Evaluate current patient accounting workflows and convert business requirements into OHPAC configuration and solution designs.

• Utilize knowledge of Soarian Financials workflows, encompassing patient accounting, billing, claims, payments, adjustments, financial transactions, and associated revenue-cycle processes.

• Use expertise in Oracle Health Patient Accounting to assess how functionalities should be migrated, redesigned, or optimized within OHPAC.

• Conduct workflow and configuration evaluations across legacy systems.

• Configure and confirm OHPAC functionalities in line with organizational needs and Oracle Health implementation standards.

• Create and implement functional test scenarios, including unit, system integration, regression, and comprehensive revenue-cycle testing.

• Assist with data validation, conversion tasks, reconciliation, and financial integrity testing.

• Collaborate with revenue-cycle subject matter experts (SMEs), patient accounting teams, technical groups, integration resources, and Oracle Health implementation stakeholders.

• Identify discrepancies between existing Soarian/Millennium workflows and the desired OHPAC functionalities.

• Record workflows, configuration choices, business requirements, test scripts, defects, and solutions.

• Aid in defect triage and resolution throughout the implementation and stabilization phases.

• Take part in cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC).

• Strong understanding of Soarian Financials patient accounting workflows.

• Practical experience in Cerner Millennium Patient Accounting build/configuration.

• Background in complex hospital/health-system OHPAC implementations.

• Demonstrated knowledge of patient accounting and revenue-cycle workflows from registration through billing, claims, payments, adjustments, and account resolution.

• Experience in translating business and operational needs into patient accounting system configurations.

• Familiarity with healthcare revenue-cycle implementations in hospital/health-system settings.

• Excellent functional analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation skills.

• Capability to work closely with revenue-cycle stakeholders and technical implementation teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare IT/revenue-cycle (preferred qualification).
