Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Supervise and guarantee the precision of the entire accounting cycle, which includes invoice posting, payment processing, and reconciliations.

• Record Italian passive invoices and assess the registration of foreign passive invoices.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Execute tax compliance responsibilities, such as VAT returns and tax submissions.

• Coordinate with external consultants and tax advisors.

• Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, bank account oversight, and payment execution.

• Aid budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing dependable financial data and insights.

• Support organization-wide projects and initiatives, including ERP systems and new tools.

• Collaborate across departments and countries on finance-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience with Italian companies.

• Advanced technical skills in Excel.

• Proficient in English.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in comparable positions.

• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite (preferred).

• Knowledge of AI tools used in finance and accounting workflows (preferred).

• Proficient in Italian (preferred).
