Patient Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative for patients inquiring about their billing statements.

• Address and resolve billing concerns to enhance the patient experience.

• Confirm insurance benefits when necessary.

• Detect enrollment problems and assess the coverage options available.

• Recognize deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, co-payments, and other payer-related items.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.

• Experience in medical billing or customer service within a physician, hospital, home health, or hospice setting.

• Residency within 60 miles of Toledo, OH 43604 is mandatory.

• Candidates must live in an eligible U.S. state; employment is not available to residents of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and U.S. territories.
