Patient Account Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide comprehensive product information, solutions, and pertinent details to both patients and providers.

• Assist branches within an assigned market.

• Review both new and existing patient accounts, securing necessary referral-source documentation to facilitate billing health insurance plans.

• Investigate and gather customer information to maintain equipment coverage through health insurance plans.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with field leadership, referrals, and patients through proactive outreach aimed at driving account resolution.

• Assess documentation for adherence to relevant standards and regulations.

• Conduct follow-ups to ensure prompt reimbursement.

• Provide timely feedback to support Field teams, Operations, and Sales.

• Identify trends in complaints and collaborate cross-functionally on preventive strategies.

• Assist in the development and implementation of employee programs.

• Execute additional duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector.

• Patient-centered, action-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator; energetic, passionate, and skilled in relationship building.

• Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word at an intermediate level.

• Proficient in English with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate mathematical skills with the ability to understand, interpret, and create spreadsheet data.

• Capable of meeting the specified physical demands, including occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Must reside and work within the United States.
