Patient Account Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide product information, solutions, and pertinent details to both patients and providers.

• Assist branches within a specified market.

• Review new and existing patient accounts to gather necessary documentation for billing individual health insurance plans.

• Investigate and secure essential customer information to maintain equipment coverage through health insurance plans.

• Cultivate collaborative relationships with field leadership, referrals, and patients through effective outreach to facilitate account resolution.

• Assess documentation for compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Conduct follow-ups to ensure timely reimbursement.

• Provide timely feedback to Field teams, Operations, and Sales.

• Identify trends in complaints and collaborate cross-functionally on preventative strategies.

• Assist in the development and implementation of employee programs.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare/health insurance sector.

• Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word at an intermediate level.

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal).

• Intermediate mathematical skills, with a strong capability to understand, interpret, and develop spreadsheet data.

• Must be able to physically reside and work within the United States.

• Ability to meet the specified physical demands, including occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
