Patient Account Resolution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service and provide comprehensive product information, solutions, and pertinent details to patients and healthcare providers.

• Advocate for customers by transforming dissatisfied patients into loyal supporters.

• Assist Field teams, Operations, and Sales by providing timely and constructive feedback.

• Address common issues, identify trends, and collaborate cross-functionally on preventive measures.

• Take proactive steps to enhance the patient experience.

• Contribute to employee programs that promote company values and culture.

• Provide support to branches within a specified market.

• Review new and existing patient accounts and gather necessary documentation for billing health insurance plans.

• Investigate and secure customer information to maintain equipment coverage through health insurance plans.

• Cultivate relationships with field leadership, referral sources, and patients through outreach to resolve account issues.

• Assess documentation for adherence to standards and regulations.

• Follow up to ensure timely reimbursement.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector.

• Proficient in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word at an intermediate level.

• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Intermediate mathematical skills, with a strong capability to understand, interpret, and create spreadsheet data.

• Must be able to reside and work in the United States.

• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including occasional lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
