This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Manage appointment requests and make outbound calls to arrange Epic referrals.
• Explain insurance participation, financial obligations, and time of service policies to patients.
• Gather patients' insurance and demographic details within EPIC.
• Execute real-time insurance verification.
• Collect pre-registration information to manage Epic work queue accounts.
• Offer support and backup coverage as necessary.
• Carry out general tasks such as faxing, filing, and sorting mail.
• Lead team discussions on intricate patient scheduling requirements.
• Handle escalated cases with increased complexity as assigned.
• Raise issues to lead/supervisor/manager for resolution.
• Execute additional related responsibilities as assigned.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, including a strong grasp of medical terminology.
• Extensive expertise in managing a variety of scheduling complexities and associated workflows.
• Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software is essential.
• An Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-volume customer service role within a call center environment is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
