This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary contact for consented patients, caregivers, and provider offices within the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Assist patients through the onboarding process, access, treatment support, and ongoing therapy stages.
• Deliver approved information regarding oncology care, benefits, products, disease states, and program resources.
• Conduct welcome calls and maintain ongoing patient journey touchpoints utilizing approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Facilitate enrollment in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and acquire any missing information and consent.
• Provide authorized treatment education and supply Important Safety Information (ISI) and Prescribing Information (PI) during product education sessions.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, financial assistance, alternative coverage options, and independent foundations.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists.
• Verify patient identifiers and consent status prior to interactions and accurately document activities in GSK systems.
• Capture and report adverse events and product quality complaints within necessary timeframes.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, and GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Assist in resolving access cases at the office level, including benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeal processes.
• Identify and escalate issues related to access, reimbursement, systemic, and technical payer concerns.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Manage cases and document interactions using Salesforce Health Cloud/CRM.
• Ensure a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing activities, safeguarding patient-identifiable information.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, corporate policies, compliance guidance, and relevant regulations.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory or within 30 miles of its border.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management is preferred.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business degree, is preferred.
• An active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are preferred.
• Experience with CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud, is preferred.
