This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for consented patients and caregivers within the GSK Oncology portfolio.
β’ Assist providers and patients in navigating coverage, reimbursement, and support solutions to ensure patients can start and continue their therapy.
β’ Guide patients and caregivers through the onboarding process, access issues, and various stages of their treatment journey.
β’ Provide support to provider accounts regarding coverage, coding, and payment inquiries following prescribing decisions.
β’ Deliver approved oncology-specific information related to care, benefits, products, disease states, and program resources.
β’ Conduct welcome calls and maintain ongoing communication with patients throughout their journey using approved guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
β’ Assist with patient enrollment in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and guide patients and offices through the enrollment process and consent capture.
β’ Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, financial assistance, alternative coverage options, and independent foundations in accordance with program guidelines.
β’ Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
β’ Verify patient identifiers and consent status while documenting interactions in approved systems.
β’ Capture and report adverse events and product quality complaints within the required timeframes.
β’ Provide education to provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, and GSK Patient Support Programs.
β’ Facilitate office-level case resolution by clarifying benefit investigations, prior authorization requirements, and appeal processes.
β’ Identify barriers to access and reimbursement and escalate complex issues to specialist access functions and leadership.
β’ Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance regulations.
β’ Document interactions and manage cases through Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
β’ Adhere to SOPs, business rules, corporate policies, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA privacy obligations.
β’ Maintain a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing activities while safeguarding patient-identifiable information from commercial teams.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ 3+ years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization procedures, and access criteria.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
β’ Valid driver's license.
β’ Candidates must reside within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of the territory border.
β’ Significant experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
β’ Advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business qualification.
β’ Active RN license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
β’ Familiarity with CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
