This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary liaison for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider office staff within the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Initiate welcome calls and maintain ongoing communication throughout the patient journey using authorized call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Assist patients with enrollment in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), while guiding them and their healthcare offices through the enrollment process and consent collection.
• Provide approved treatment education and deliver Important Safety Information (ISI) and Prescribing Information (PI) during educational sessions.
• Inform patients about coverage results, cost-sharing, financial assistance options, alternative coverage, and independent foundations.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Confirm patient identifiers and consent status prior to interactions and ensure precise documentation in GSK's internal systems.
• Capture and report adverse events and product quality complaints within stipulated timeframes.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies pertaining to GSK Oncology products.
• Assist in resolving access cases at the office level, including outcomes of benefit investigations, prior authorization needs, processes, and appeal pathways.
• Identify barriers to access and reimbursement and escalate complex issues to specialized access functions and leadership.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Document interactions and manage cases within Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, corporate policies, compliance guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and data separation protocols.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Over 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Candidates should live within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of the territory's border.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management is preferred.
• Proficiency in using CRM and case management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• An active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are essential.
