This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary point of contact for consented patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and office staff throughout the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Assist patients during the onboarding process, access, and various phases of their treatment journey.
• Deliver approved oncology-specific information and educational resources, including discussions on benefits, product details, disease-state information as per the PI, and program resources.
• Execute welcome calls and maintain ongoing communication throughout the treatment journey using approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Aid in patient enrollment in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and help patients and offices navigate enrollment requirements, missing information, and consent collection.
• Provide education on treatment and supply the ISI and PI whenever product information is shared.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing responsibilities, financial assistance options, alternative coverage, and independent foundations in accordance with program guidelines.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Communicate through approved recorded telephony and program systems while confirming identifiers and consent status.
• Ensure accurate documentation within GSK internal systems and Salesforce Health Cloud/CRM.
• Document and report adverse events and product quality complaints within the stipulated timeframes.
• Train provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, and GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Assist with office-level access case resolutions, including benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Identify access and reimbursement challenges and escalate complex issues to specialist access functions and leadership.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Maintain strict separation between patient-facing and account-facing activities while safeguarding patient-identifiable information.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, company policies, compliance guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and applicable laws.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization processes, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver's license.
• Candidates should either live within the designated territory or within 30 miles of the territory border.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management is preferred.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business qualification, is preferred.
• An active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM and case management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to utilize approved materials while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA requirements, SOPs, and business rules.
