This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Act as the primary liaison for patients, caregivers, healthcare provider office staff, and provider accounts within the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Assist patients throughout their onboarding, access, treatment, and ongoing support experiences.
• Conduct welcome calls and maintain regular contact points during the patient journey using authorized materials.
• Aid in enrollment for GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), while guiding patients and offices through enrollment stipulations and consent procedures.
• Provide authorized treatment education along with information regarding coverage, cost-sharing, financial aid, and alternative coverage options.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Record interactions with patients and providers, managing cases within GSK internal systems and Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Document and report adverse events and product quality complaints.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, benefit investigation results, prior authorization needs, and appeal processes.
• Identify access and reimbursement challenges and escalate complex issues to specialized access functions and leadership.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams within approved guidelines.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, compliance protocols, HIPAA regulations, and relevant laws.
• Ensure a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities while safeguarding patient-identifiable information.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 3 years of cumulative experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience initiatives, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization criteria, and access requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight trips.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
• Significant experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• Proficient in using CRM and case-management systems, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
