This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Act as the key liaison for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider office staff, delivering authorized oncology-specific information and education.
• Perform welcome calls and maintain ongoing communication throughout the patient journey using approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Assist patients in enrolling in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), while guiding them and their offices through enrollment requirements and consent processes.
• Provide educational information regarding treatment through approved call guides, ensuring that Important Safety Information (ISI) and Prescribing Information (PI) are included when product education is provided.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing responsibilities, and available financial assistance options.
• Facilitate connections to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Execute patient communications using authorized recorded telephony and program systems, confirming identifiers and obtaining consent.
• Ensure precise documentation within GSK’s internal systems and Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Record and report adverse events and product quality complaints within designated timeframes.
• Provide education to provider offices regarding payer coverage, coding practices, and payment policies related to GSK Oncology products.
• Assist in resolving access cases by clarifying benefit investigation results, prior authorization necessities, and appeal procedures.
• Identify and address access and reimbursement challenges, escalating complex issues to specialized access functions and leadership.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams within established guidelines.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business protocols, compliance regulations, HIPAA mandates, and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization processes, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight trips.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Candidates should reside within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of its border.
• Significant experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business qualification.
• Active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Familiarity with CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
