This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider (HCP) office personnel, delivering authorized oncology care information and education.
• Conduct introductory calls and continuous journey check-ins using approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Assist in patient enrollment for GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP), and guide both patients and offices through the enrollment process, addressing any missing information and consent collection.
• Provide specific treatment education related to programs and present Important Safety Information (ISI) and Prescribing Information (PI) whenever product education is shared.
• Inform patients about coverage results, cost-sharing, financial assistance alternatives, alternative coverage options, and independent foundations in accordance with program regulations.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Manage patient communications through authorized recorded telephony and program systems, ensuring verification of identifiers and consent status.
• Keep precise documentation in GSK’s internal system.
• Record and report adverse events and product quality issues within mandated timeframes.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies concerning GSK Oncology products.
• Facilitate access case resolution by clarifying benefit investigation results, prior authorization prerequisites, processes, and appeal options.
• Recognize access and reimbursement challenges and escalate complex, systemic, or technical payer issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Document interactions and manage cases using Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Adhere to SOPs, business regulations, corporate policies, and compliance standards while ensuring a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory or within 30 miles of the territory's border.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business qualification.
• Active RN license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Familiarity with CRM and case-management platforms, ideally Salesforce Health Cloud, for documenting interactions, managing cases, and maintaining accurate records.
