This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider office personnel across the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Assist patients in navigating onboarding, access, reimbursement, treatment support, and ongoing therapy journeys.
• Deliver approved oncology-specific information regarding benefits, products, disease states, and program resources.
• Conduct welcome calls and maintain communication throughout the patient journey utilizing approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Aid in enrollment for GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program, while guiding patients and offices through the necessary requirements and consent processes.
• Provide treatment education using approved materials and share Important Safety Information and Prescribing Information when appropriate.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, financial assistance options, alternate coverage, and independent foundations within program guidelines.
• Facilitate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists.
• Ensure accurate patient and case documentation in GSK internal systems and Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Capture and report adverse events and product quality complaints within designated timeframes.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, benefit investigation results, prior authorization, and appeal processes.
• Assist in resolving office-level access cases and escalate complex, systemic, or technical payer issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Maintain a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities, ensuring the protection of patient-identifiable information.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, corporate policies, HIPAA standards, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of its border.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• Familiarity with CRM and case-management platforms, ideally Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Proven track record of documenting interactions, managing cases, and maintaining precise records.
• Advanced degree, such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or other relevant clinical or business qualifications (preferred).
• Active RN license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred).
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
