This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, healthcare provider office personnel, and provider accounts within the GSK Oncology portfolio.
• Assist patients through the onboarding process, access, reimbursement, and ongoing treatment-support stages.
• Deliver approved oncology-specific information and education, discussions about benefits, product and disease-state details, and program resources.
• Perform welcome calls and maintain ongoing patient journey interactions utilizing approved call guides, FAQs, and Prescribing Information.
• Aid in enrollment for GSK services, including PAP, and assist patients and offices with enrollment requirements, missing information, and consent acquisition.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, financial assistance options, alternative coverage, and independent foundations within program regulations.
• Facilitate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and back-office Benefits Specialists.
• Communicate with patients through approved recorded telephony and program systems, confirming identifiers and consent status.
• Ensure accurate documentation in GSK’s internal system and Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Collect and report adverse events and product quality complaints, following crisis-management protocols.
• Provide education to provider offices regarding payer coverage, coding, payment policies, and GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Assist in office-level access case resolution by clarifying benefit investigation outcomes, prior authorization requirements, processes, and appeal pathways.
• Identify access and reimbursement challenges and escalate complex, systemic, or technical payer issues.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams while adhering to compliance standards.
• Adhere to SOPs, business rules, corporate policies, privacy standards, and compliance guidelines.
• Maintain a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities while safeguarding patient-identifiable information.
• Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory or within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
• Significant experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• Proficiency in using CRM and case-management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• An advanced degree such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or another relevant clinical or business qualification is preferred.
• An active RN license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
