This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for Australia and New Zealand.
• Manage the market budget and expenditures.
• Cultivate relationships with football and rugby leagues, federations, associations, and governing bodies.
• Renew and enhance existing partner relationships.
• Establish new national and state-level partnerships from initial outreach to contract execution.
• Drive partner activations through events, seminars, workshops, and campaigns.
• Meet ARR and revenue objectives via partner activations and sales enablement.
• Present to partners’ clubs and their members.
• Analyze partner organizations and their decision-making frameworks.
• Travel to tournaments, conventions, and partner locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• Provide market intelligence to headquarters and the product and leadership teams based in Copenhagen.
• Utilize AI for preparation, outreach, reporting, and enhancing productivity.
• Report on pipeline, partner performance, and essential metrics.
• Minimum of 3 years in partner account management, partnerships, sales, or marketing.
• Preferred background in sports or sports technology.
• In-depth knowledge of football and rugby in Australia and New Zealand.
• Established network within football and rugby associations and governing bodies.
• Proven experience in closing deals and managing long-term partner relationships.
• Experience in activating partnerships in the field and promoting grassroots engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ideally, project management experience.
• Genuine expertise in utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency, output, and problem-solving.
• Comfortable working independently and communicating across different time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Residing in a well-connected area of Australia; Sydney is preferred.
• Complete ownership of a market, including your own region, partners, and budget.
• Autonomy and freedom to develop your own strategies.
• Access to a global team of colleagues in Europe and the USA for learning and collaboration.
• Direct communication with the Global Director of Partnerships.
