Partnerships Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Assist in identifying and developing opportunities to enhance the impact of the Foundation’s products in Kenya.

• Oversee assigned partnerships, facilitating effective delivery and enhancing partner capacity to offer high-quality learning experiences.

• Aid in the implementation of new regional programmes, including comprehensive grant management when applicable.

• Collaborate with the Impact team to enhance and execute monitoring and evaluation strategies.

• Utilize M&E results to inform partnership and programme enhancements, ensuring that desired outcomes are met.

• Generate reports throughout the partnership and programme lifecycle.

• Recognize and respond to opportunities, challenges, and risks, providing recommendations for renewals.

• Expand the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s network within Kenya.

• Represent the Foundation at local and international events as appropriate.

• Contribute content for newsletters, social media, and digital platforms.

• Engage on the Foundation’s Slack channel.

• Line manage members of the Kenya team when necessary.

• Report to the Country Director.

• Must be eligible to work in Kenya.

• Proven track record of success in partnership and business development.

• Capability to identify and advance opportunities, develop proposals, and establish productive partnerships.

• Familiarity with the education systems in Kenya and the adoption of new programmes and products in schools and non-formal learning environments.

• Understanding of the market landscape for computing education.

• Significant experience in managing educational partnerships, including large and complex initiatives.

• Proficient in engaging and managing external stakeholders.

• Strong network of relevant contacts.

• Experience and comprehension of grant management processes.

• Background in online learning experiences and products.

• Insight into how technology is transforming education.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• A collaborative, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset.

• Capability to handle conflicting priorities and complexity.

• Strong data and analytical skills.

• Proficient in using data to enhance outcomes effectively.

• Willingness to travel within Kenya, including overnight stays when necessary.

• Ability or willingness to travel to South Africa and the UK as needed.

• Successful background check required for working with children.
