Partnership Protection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Act as a vital operational link between Sportradar and designated North American sports rights holders.

• Participate in sporting events across North America to assist with rights-holder operations.

• Establish and nurture relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, venue operators, and other key stakeholders.

• Perform intelligence-driven research on market activities impacting rights-holder interests.

• Recognize emerging risks, trends, and operational vulnerabilities that may affect rights partnerships.

• Conduct investigative research utilizing open-source, commercial, and industry-specific data sources.

• Lead and facilitate the collection of digital evidence related to sportsbook activity, betting markets, prediction platforms, and relevant digital contexts.

• Develop intelligence databases concerning individuals, groups, and networks within the sports betting and data collection ecosystem.

• Collaborate with Rights & Partnership Protection colleagues in Europe to identify global trends, organized networks, and syndicates across various jurisdictions.

• Analyze information from rights holders and convert operational reports into actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations.

• Create regular intelligence products, stakeholder briefings, and operational assessments.

• Provide comprehensive season-long reporting, including pre-season risk assessments, in-season updates, and post-season reviews.

• Assist rights holders in formulating operational best practices to improve data collection integrity and partnership performance.

• Design and conduct educational workshops and awareness sessions.

• Offer intelligence and operational insights that reinforce current partnerships and facilitate future rights opportunities.

• Contribute to global Rights & Partnership Protection methodologies, processes, and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, due diligence, or a related analytical field.

• Proven investigative mindset with experience in intelligence-driven inquiries and research.

• Strong knowledge of the North American sports landscape, especially in NBA/Basketball, MLB/Baseball, and NHL/Ice Hockey.

• Good understanding of tennis and soccer (MLS), including relevant betting markets and operational environments.

• Experience in analyzing information from diverse sources and creating concise, actionable reports and assessments.

• Knowledge of sportsbook operations, sports betting ecosystems, and modern wagering mechanics, including live/in-play micro-betting, prediction platforms, exchanges, and latency arbitrage risks.

• Ability to detect emerging trends, behavioral patterns, and networked activities within complex environments.

• Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable presenting information to senior stakeholders and external partners.

• Experience in delivering training, workshops, or educational presentations.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North America.

• Advantageous: experience working directly with professional sports leagues, federations, or rights holders.

• Advantageous: experience in attending and managing operational activities at live sporting events.

• Advantageous: experience in conducting OSINT, CYBINT/DNINT, or digital investigations.

• Advantageous: existing professional network within North American sports, betting, or security sectors.

• Advantageous: understanding of sports data rights, betting rights, and commercial partnership structures.

• Advantageous: experience in supporting or managing strategic partnerships within the sports industry.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel (Advanced).

• Experience with stadium CCTV systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), and control room environments.

• Awareness of data collection operations during live sports events.

• Additional language skills, particularly in Spanish or Portuguese.
