Partnership Protection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary operational point of contact between Sportradar and designated North American sports rights holders.

• Participate in sporting events across North America to assist rights-holder operations.

• Establish and nurture relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, venue operators, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Perform intelligence-driven research into market activities and investigate entities that may affect rights-holder interests.

• Recognize emerging risks, trends, and operational weaknesses that impact rights partnerships.

• Execute investigative research utilizing open-source, commercial, and industry-specific data sources.

• Lead and facilitate the collection of digital evidence related to sportsbook activities, betting markets, prediction platforms, and other digital arenas.

• Develop intelligence assets concerning individuals, groups, and networks within the sports betting and data collection landscape.

• Collaborate with Rights & Partnership Protection colleagues across Europe to identify global trends, organized networks, and syndicates spanning jurisdictions.

• Analyze rights-holder data and convert operational reports into actionable intelligence and strategic recommendations.

• Create intelligence products, stakeholder briefings, and operational evaluations.

• Provide comprehensive season-long reporting, which includes pre-season risk assessments, in-season updates, and post-season reviews.

• Assist rights holders in formulating operational best practices to improve data collection integrity and partnership performance.

• Organize and deliver educational workshops and awareness sessions.

• Offer intelligence and operational insights that support current partnerships and future rights opportunities.

• Contribute to global Rights & Partnership Protection methodologies, processes, and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, due diligence, or a related analytical domain.

• Proven investigative mindset with experience in conducting intelligence-led inquiries and research.

• Strong comprehension of the North American sports landscape, particularly in NBA/Basketball, MLB/Baseball, and NHL/Ice Hockey.

• Solid working knowledge of tennis and soccer (MLS), including relevant betting markets and operational settings.

• Experience in analyzing data from various sources and producing clear, actionable reports and assessments.

• Understanding of sportsbook operations, sports betting ecosystems, and associated market participants.

• Capability to identify emerging trends, behavioral patterns, and interconnected activities within complex environments.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in presenting information to senior stakeholders and external partners.

• Experience in delivering training, workshops, or educational presentations.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.

• Direct experience working with professional sports leagues, federations, or rights holders is advantageous.

• Experience in attending and overseeing operational activities at live sporting events is a plus.

• Familiarity with conducting OSINT, CYBINT/DNINT, or digital investigations is beneficial.

• Established professional network within North American sports, betting, or security industries is a plus.

• Knowledge of sports data rights, betting rights, and commercial partnership frameworks is advantageous.

• Experience in supporting or managing strategic partnerships within the sports sector is beneficial.

• Awareness of data collection operations during live sports events is advantageous.

• Additional language skills, especially in Spanish or Portuguese, are a plus.
